Size Guide, Weight & Measurements
Selecting the right valandre sleeping bag is essential to ensure comfortable nights outdoors. Here are the criteria to consider to find the valandre sleeping bag that suits you, especially in terms of size.
-
Choose the Right Size for Your Body Shape The Valandré range of sleeping bags offers three different sizes:
- Size S: for someone up to 165 cm tall, with an internal length of 170 cm.
- Size M: for someone between 165 and 180 cm tall, with an internal length of 185 cm.
- Size L: for someone up to 195 cm tall, with an internal length of 200 cm.
-
Why Choose a Bag That Fits Your Size? Choosing a sleeping bag that's too big or too small can affect your comfort and the quality of your sleep:
- Too big: your body will have to heat up too much space, which could lead to heat loss.
- Too small: you may feel cramped, needing to curl up your legs or compress the foot and head compartments, which reduces the thermal efficiency of the insulation.
-
A Well-Fitted Bag for Greater Comfort A valandre sleeping bag that fits your size ensures a restful sleep, with enough space for your feet and hood without compressing the insulation. Additionally, you can store small useful items during the night, such as a battery, phone, or water bottle.
-
Between Two Sizes? Choose the Larger One If you’re between two sizes or need to store a lot of gear at the bottom of the bag (clothes, thermos, gas, etc.), it's recommended to choose the larger size. This advice also applies if you prefer more space for a comfortable sleep.
In summary, choosing the right sleeping bag size maximizes its thermal efficiency and your comfort, especially in extreme conditions.
